Course Overview:

This session will focus on the latest additions to the Matrx® Seating Line of products.

First, we will talk about the clinical benefits and application of the new Matrx® E2 Back Series. We will examine the design of the back in detail and will explain how it provides advanced temperature/moisture control as well as enhanced immersion and comfort. Versatility and adjustability of the E2 back hardware and accessories will be demonstrated with videos and examples of clinical application. We will share the results of a study that confirmed reductions in skin temperature and sweating with our new E2 ripple foam.

Second, our new Matrx® LOXX headrest hardware will be introduced along with clinical examples and a case study. The unique patent-pending design will be described and supplemented with videos showing ease of adjustment and durability of the hardware. The Matrx® PSP cushion in an expanded sizing will be introduced for bariatric applications. The PSP positioning and skin protection features will be reviewed as well as unique design components such as reversible covers that allow easy cleaning and disinfection.

Finally, we will talk about Matrx® Protect line of infection control covers for cushions and backs. Several previews will provide glimpse into the upcoming Motion Concepts products.
